Under water scene; classroom.
In these slides you can see more fully the process that goes into one of my paintings. First the sketch, then translated to the wall and traced with Sharpi so I can see it easier. Next, I paint the base colors and shade on top, there isn't an order to the parts I choose to work on. If I want to add something large behind pre-existing images, I cover it with edging tape and paint over it. When the tape is removed, it adds depth to the painting.
Misc. painting projects; to specification.
First image is in a closet and the "C" is filled with pearlescent glitter, and the second picture is my first attempt at graffiti font. It takes up almost the entire length of that wall! The third shows a variety of fonts that I've recreated, the 4th is a silhouette mural that was requested, and the last one is from almost 8 years ago, painting the walls to match the designs on the bed spread for a pre-teen's room.
Under water scene; bedroom wall.
One of my first commissioned pieces, took me 60 hours (12 days, 5 hours ea.). With all of my murals, I will sketch out a rough draft to your specifications before translating it to the wall of choice. I mix almost all of my own colors, and a cool example you can see is the ombre of the blues from dark to light in the water. Another example of smooth color transition can be seen in the mural below.
